Limited Edition
Frozen Space
A fine art photograph by Justin Cooper
No snowflake has ever been made twice, not once, in all the snow that has ever fallen. This is an extreme macro of them settled on ice, the whole unseen architecture of a thing that lives for minutes and is never repeated. They come down by the billion, night after night, almost entirely unwatched. To get close enough to see the working of one felt less like taking a photograph than like being let quietly in on something.
