Cascading Jasper

Banff is one of our neighboring country's true gems, and everybody knows it. But up the road, past the point where most of the coaches turn back, is Jasper, which does not get the recognition and is to my mind the better mash of nature. High in the jagged mountains there was a single lone waterfall and nobody at all to look at it. Serene and quiet and entirely unbothered. The cascade only amplified the tones and the cracks of a mountain far older than the road that got me there.
