Ethereal Split

Antelope Canyon has been photographed into the ground, and deservedly so. But the same country holds smaller private canyons that almost nobody has ever walked, and on that trip in Utah I was fortunate enough to meet a man who lived beside one. He took me down into it. The walls came up a red I had not seen before and have not seen since, and there was not one other person waiting for the light. Truly it is a passage into another world, and the world it opens into has nobody in it.
