Heaven on Earth

The northern states of the lower forty-eight get passed over, and Idaho most of all. A secret, and one of the most serene places I know in every manner that counts. Quiet living meets the country here without either having to give way. A crisp light stream runs out under wandering clouds and the two of them blend at the edges until you cannot say where one ends. Stillness is the water. Stillness is the sky. Sit with a fall day like that and nothing at all is asked of you.
