Thin ice and a winter wind push these stones across the cracked floor a few centimeters at a time, and each one draws a track behind it that will still be legible in years. It is the slowest motion I know of anywhere on this earth, and it leaves the longest memory. Nothing out there is in a hurry, and nothing out there forgets.
