What the sea has left of the Peter Iredale on the Oregon coast, with the sun coming through her frames. She went aground in 1906 and she has been going back ever since. Patiently, without complaint, at a rate you can measure in decades and stand in the middle of. Every tide takes a little more. In another century there will be nothing here at all, and the beach will not remember her.
