Shot from above in the Swiss Alps, looking straight down on a ski trail as it winds through a forest of snow-loaded spruce. Four skiers, small as punctuation, slide down the pale ribbon, and the only colour left in the frame is a few red trail markers. The mountain has been reduced to charcoal and white. It is the quietest way I know to see how small we are.
