Limited Edition
Pale Ground
A fine art photograph by Justin Cooper
Two horses standing close on ground so bright that the frame has almost nothing left in it but the two of them. High key, and on purpose: take the landscape away entirely and what remains is a pair of animals and the particular way they hold their heads when they are content. I could have given you the hills behind, and the grass, and the weather. Everything I actually wanted was already in the two of them.
