Mykonos, doing the thing the Greek islands are famous for and have never once tired of. But behind the front row of the sunset, behind all the people holding up their telephones, is a maze of white walls, and inside the maze is everything else: the food, the cloth, the arguments, the washing, the whole working island that the postcard leaves out entirely. I watched the sunset like everybody else. I liked the maze better.
