A long beach in monochrome, the edge of the dune cutting hard across the frame and the bay opening out beyond it. No mid-tones worth the name. On a day like that the sand comes out brighter than the sky above it, which is technically a fault and was plainly the truth of the afternoon, so I let it stand. Some days the world overexposes itself and it is not my place to argue.
