The sun comes down through the canopy onto this falls at exactly the right minute of the morning. A minute that arrives once a day, does not wait to be greeted, and is gone before you have adjusted for it. Held open long enough, the plunge pool gives up being water altogether and becomes smoke. I have been back since at the wrong hour and found an ordinary waterfall.
